PREFACE

From  July12th to 15th, 2026, the global engineering failure analysis community set its sights on Shanghai as the 11th International Conference on Engineering Failure Analysis (ICEFA XI), jointly hosted by Elsevier, Fudan University, and the Failure Analysis Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, was grandly held.


This conference covers the research on failure mechanisms and industry cases in fields such as metals, polymers, ceramics, composite materials, and electronic materials. It is a highly influential international academic exchange platform in the field of failure analysis.

Shanghai Langyi Functional Co., Materials Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Langyi New Materials) focuses on five product areas, namely, special chemical functional materials, water-based curing agent functional materials, inorganic micro-nano functional materials, fine polymer functional materials, and advanced carbon-silicon based functional materials.

This time, Langyi New Materials showcased a number of core products and solutions at ICEFA XI. Focusing on reliability issues that the industry is concerned about, such as aging, hydrolysis failure, ion migration and semiconductor failure of polymer materials, it had in - depth exchanges with experts, scholars and industry partners in the fields of global materials science, engineering failure analysis and advanced manufacturing to jointly explore new directions for improving material reliability and the innovative development of functional materials.

The related products can be widely used in fields such as photovoltaics, new energy, semiconductors, electronics and electrical, and high-performance composite materials. They have significant advantages in improving the hydrolysis resistance of materials, suppressing ion contamination, enhancing interface stability, improving weather resistance, and extending the service life of products, providing customers with functional material solutions featuring high reliability, high performance, and sustainable development.
